Our cabin is located minutes from Big Burns, Rutherford Beach, the Mermentau River, and Rockefeller Refuge and is about 30 minutes to Lake Charles and another 5-10 minutes to the airport. The lodge sleeps up to 10; and, if it is booked during the date you desire, there is a high end 5th wheel with 1.5 bathrooms, a 2021 camper with a bunk room that sleeps up to 8, and a small camper that sleeps up to 4 are available to rent in our RV Park in Grand Chenier. Campers can be brought on location for additional sleeping space.
Lodge Living Room
Our lodge received a total remodel in 2022 resulting from Hurricanes Laura and Delta which included new walls, ceilings, floors, custom soft push cabinets, tile backsplash, granite countertops and appliances. A third bedroom was added. When retracted, it allows space to function as an office.
Living Area
Hardie plank replaced the vinyl siding, and a new architectural roof was installed. The house contains everything needed for a pleasant stay. Just bring your food, clothes, personal toiletries, and hunting and fishing equipment.
